POLIBEA TURISMO: V1.

Brakes released, checklists thoroughly completed, sufficient forward speed attained, runway aligned with good crosswind control capability, all engines operating. V1! There we go! After that precise moment, there's no way back. Just seconds before, the three times "abort" callout is possible, ground assistance might be required, even aircraft and crew could return to the parking position and destination be changed. At the V1 call in the cockpit (even though it is referred to as "takeoff decision speed") everybody in there knows that they are dedicated to go flying: the decision has been made for them. Once V1 has been achieved the only possible manoeuvre is to rotate the aircraft at a proper rate to take off.

Polibea Turismo: V1. Two years smoothly taxing, two years rolling forward, two years of a team, a trained and aware crew, that works in a synergistic environment to effectively accomplish tasks using sound judgement and technique. In addition, more and more people are sharing this adventure with us day in, day out: they are the first and last reason for our flight plan. Two years taxing that have led us at V1.
