Regarding means of wheelchair accessible accommodation we'd like to highlight the Hotel Mit-Mensch Berlin, which is managed by people with disabilities. In this 15-room building, 7 rooms (both single and double) are suitable for wheelchair users providing en suite accessible/adapted bathroom. This fully accessible hotel is located in Berlin-Karlshorst, Prinzenviertel: the centre of the city can be reached by accessible public transport from the hotel. It only takes about 15 minutes on the S-Bahn to Alexanderplatz and 30 minutes to Friedrichstraße and Kurfürstendamm- the well-known shopping mile.
Hotel staff can arrange transfers (adapted transport) to and from the hotel (www.mit-mensch.com)
