In 2007 a new part of the company will be opening which provides services for cruise passengers in Valencia, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. AccessibleCruiseTours.com will fill the gap where mainstream tour providers leave disabled cruise passengers stranded on the ship by supplying accessible shore excursions with a guide in adapted vehicles.

And what about the guide books? AccessibleBarcelona is now listed in many of the major guides such as Lonely Planet, TimeOut, Rough Guides and Fodors as the main source of information for disabled travelers that wish to visit Barcelona. Not exactly what I had in mind, but nothing is ever perfect.
