La Cabrera is located in the northern mountainous area of Madrid, 60 km. from the Capital. This mountain area known as Sierra Norte (de Madrid) offers a great deal of cultural, leisure and entertainment activities and it's a goal for the local administration to please all people who visit it and enjoy their tourist offer every year, regardless their capabilities/abilities.

Knowing that receiving specialized training is a key deciding factor for managers and staff in order to offer a high quality tourist services to people with special needs, the staff responsible for the Centro de Innovación Turística de la Sierra Norte Villa San Roque (situated in La Cabrera), have organized a Seminar dedicated to Accessible Tourism: "ENCUENTRO DE TURISMO RURAL ACCESIBLE".

Two members of Polibea Turismo educational team will be responsible for the lectures in this meeting: Carlos Rodríguez Mahou (CEAPAT's archictect) and Santiago Salgado Balbellido (Graduated in Tourism and Polibea Turismo Director).
