
The Patronato de Turismo de Madrid (City Tourist Board) together with the ONCE (Nacional Organization for the Blind), FEAPS and the FESORCAM (Deaf People Organization in Madrid) have organized several walking guided tours specially designed for impaired/disabled people. Groups of a maximum of fifteen people are accompanied by specialized guides and will be attended by an official interpreter of the Spanish Sign Language (LSE), in addition the guide will use a megaphone for those who might have hearing rest.
People with Reduced Mobility
These walking tours have been designed as barrier free visits. Anyone needing to loan a wheelchair for the tour, should request it in advance to CENTRO DE TURISMO DE MADRID.

Discover the places Captain Alatriste visited, enjoy the traditional Madrid , or get to know every nook and cranny of the Retiro Park . Disabled people who would like to discover Madrid and its stories simply have to sign up for any of the routes proposed by the Tourist Board as part of the Discover Madrid programme.
